Massimo Farinatti, Art Director and designer of Vanità Living, held a workshop as part of the "Passion in Action" series, coordinated by Professor Venanzio Arquilla, Director of the Department of Product Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan, together with Professor Francesco Schianchi. The meeting explored design as a hybrid between discipline and art, using the metaphor of the "microscope" to observe the invisible details that give meaning to the entire project.
During his speech, Massimo recounted the Vanità Living experience, demonstrating how light and reflection become a design language: from the revelation of light in mirrors to the attention to hidden details, each element is designed to improve the use, durability, and perceived quality of spaces.
XO It is one of the most significant examples. The first mirror to use the patented technology Ghost MirrorsWhen the light is off, XO displays a visual trace of the luminous decoration that will appear when it is turned on, anticipating and completing the product's graphic language. When the light is activated, the decoration emerges with precision, transforming illumination into a design feature. Interaction occurs via an infrared sensor, combining essential aesthetics and visual comfort.
Also Sundance It expresses the Vanità Living brand code: the light, invisible when the mirror is off, appears as luminous brackets around the reflection. Invisible details, such as the silicone micro-seals that space the shelf by 1 mm, simplify maintenance and preserve quality and durability over time.

Through these experiences, Vanità Living demonstrates how enhancing invisible details can transform mirrors into architectural language tools, blending aesthetics, technology, and comfort in every space.
